We only sell AI that actually
transforms. works.
Hopsy SV finds the inefficiencies in your operation, replaces them with AI where it pays for itself, and tells you to skip the parts where it doesn’t. No vapor demos. No transformation theatre. Just measurable, honest work.
Most AI consulting is selling smoke.
The AI industry has a credibility problem. Polished demos that fall apart in production. Buzzwords sold by the kilogram. Six-figure ‘transformation programs’ that automate the wrong thing, badly, and leave a team worse off than where they started.
Hopsy SV exists because the gap between what AI can do and what most consultants promise it can do has become a crater. Someone has to be honest about it.
Here’s the truth: most businesses don’t need a transformation. They need one or two specific, boring, repetitive things automated — the parts where humans are doing what machines could. We find those, build them, prove they’re paying off, and leave you with systems you actually understand.
The rest of the time, we’ll tell you AI isn’t the answer. That’s the whole pitch.
“If the AI isn’t moving a real number on a real spreadsheet, we’re not building it.”— The first rule, written above the desk
Four steps. Nothing fancy.
We spend real time with your team. Watch the work happen. Find the slow bits, the tedious bits, the bits where humans are doing what machines should — and the bits where the opposite is true. You get a written brief at the end, with or without us.
We pitch only the things that will actually pay back. Each one comes with a baseline measurement, a target, and an honest cost. If a problem isn't worth automating — or if a simpler tool already exists — we say so, in writing.
We build, test, and measure against the baseline. You see progress weekly. If it doesn't beat the baseline by the target we agreed on — it doesn't ship, and you don't pay for the part that didn't work. That's the deal.
You get working systems, the data, the documentation, and a person you can call. No lock-in, no proprietary middleware, no "ongoing managed service" you can't escape. The whole point is that this keeps working after we're gone.
What we do. What we don’t.
- + Measure against a real baseline before we start.
- + Charge only when results are demonstrable.
- + Build with open tools you can swap out later.
- + Tell you when AI is the wrong tool.
- + Write everything down, in plain English.
- + Pick up the phone when something breaks.
- − Build vapor demos that look great and do nothing.
- − Sell you "AI transformation" programs.
- − Use jargon to obscure what we're doing.
- − Charge retainers for systems that run themselves.
- − Lock you into proprietary middleware.
- − Take projects we don't believe will work.

Hopsy SV is run by a working AI engineer based in Queensland. Two years post-graduation, full-time at a company where AI is one of many hats. This consultancy is the side of the work that’s mine — the hands-on, results-only side.
No team page with stock photos. No promises that depend on a head count I don’t have. No sales pipeline that needs feeding. Just direct, honest work with the people who own the problem.
The advantage of being small is the freedom to say no. To turn down the projects that wouldn’t actually help. To take on the ones where I can stand behind the result, personally. The day job means I don’t need every conversation to convert — which is exactly why this is the right place to send an honest assessment.
If you’d like to talk, send a note describing the problem. I’ll tell you, plainly, whether it’s the kind of thing I think AI can fix.
